A week of anniversaries! Alex celebrates 7 years at SCC.

Congratulations to Alex on celebrating your 7th year at SCC.  Alex has come a long way since starting in 2016. His dedication to the company has continued to inspire us all and contributed to our success. 

Alex’s career at SCC started in 2016 when he started as a Placement Student.  We were a small practice back then with only 6 employees and Alex was thrown in at the deep end to help with projects.  Alex sailed through his placement year, and we just couldn’t let him go.  Alex finished his degree part time over two years whilst still working for us full time.  Graduating from the University of Ulster in 2019 he was officially a graduate Electrical Engineer. 

Since 2019 Alex has gone from Graduate Engineer to Electrical Engineer then Senior Electrical Engineer and recently Principle Engineer in 2023.  These titles have been earned through hard work and dedication to not only SCC but the entire team.  Alex has strong technical knowledge and has overcome many challenges to find solutions for our clients.  Alex acts as our main Commissioning Manager and has recently got his accreditations through the Commissioning Specialists Association.    In 2023 Alex got his Chartership which was a couple of years of hard work alongside starting a family.

Alex, we thank you for being such an inspirational member of the team and your day-to-day contribution to not only SCC but the wider engineering community.  Looking forward to seeing what you can achieve in the next 7 years!
