Commissioning Management Course

Our very own Alex Hamilton recently completed a 2-day course from the Commissioing Specialist Association based on CIBSE Code M: Management. The course was delivered by Glenn Hawkins and was a combination of presentations and workshops on the commissioning process of a project. The course provided an insight into the importance of seeing commissioning as a holistic activity rather than a rush towards the end of the project. The main aim of the course was to aid in delivering buildings that are people ready, operationally ready and document ready. 

The course highlighted the 4 different stages of commissioning and the correct process of commissioning management from Stage 1 to Stage 7.  It provided insight into the roles and responsibilities of a Commissioning Manager and all other members of the design team and contractor team.
