Laura was absolutely delighted to be asked to attend the Employee Ownership Ireland as a guest panelist this week. The event was held in the Mac Theatre in Belfast to encourage more local businesses to take the leap into employee ownership. The panel included James Morrison from DWF Law LLP, Rebecca Aitken from White Ink Architects, Karen Maguire and our own Laura Buckley. The panel was hosted by Paul Prenter from Grant Thornton UK who made everyone feel at ease. Laura shared her experience in relation to being a family member to a business that has become an EOT and how this has changed her role in the company. A very informative event overall and many thanks for Catherine Muldoon and Anna Connor for pulling it altogether.
