Merchant Square

Merchant Sq is a 220,000ft², £25m Cat A, 9-storey office redevelopment in Belfast City Centre. The scheme consists of retail units at ground floor with 8 floors of office accommodation above.

SCC was appointed from RIBA Stage 1 through to project completion & handover to provide MEP design & site support services. We played a vital role in the coordination of services, working with the design team, providing reports and sketches at RIBA Stages 2 & 3 before providing a RIBA stage 4 technical design.

This was the first refurbished building in Belfast to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating through the hard work of the complete design team.
